Welcome to Le Marie Marché

Le Marie Marché is not a market like other markets. The moment you step inside, you smell the lilacs first, then the roasted nuts, and only then do you see the hundreds of stalls spread across the square like a cheerful patchwork blanket.

Since 2016, we have been organising atmospheric markets with the unhurried pace of a French village square. No plastic, no fast-food stands, no background music from speakers—instead, stalls filled with brocante, delicacies, jewellery, art and crafts, run by makers who love to tell their story. It's a market where after three minutes, you've forgotten your phone.

Four seasons, one feeling

The summer editions are full of lavender, peaches and linen dresses. In autumn, it smells of apple cider and chestnuts. At Christmas, there are stalls with santons and panettoni next to rich stews. And in spring, when the cherry blossoms open, even the cobbled courtyards feel like the edge of a Provençal village.

With each edition, we carefully select our participants. We look for makers who stand at the market themselves, tell honest stories, and bring products that simply don't exist on a Dutch furniture boulevard. The market remains small, personal and special.

Le Marie Marché is for those who love the extraordinary. For the collector searching for that one brass pocketknife, for the family that dreams away for an hour after school, for the photographer who finds this light nowhere else. For those who see the market not as a shopping centre, but as a morning to wander through slowly.
