In short
Delicacies at Le Marie Marché are small, honest and first-hand. Olive oil from an Italian family, panettone heavy with butter, cheese too special for the supermarket, charcuterie, jam, honey, coffee, wine. Many of our vendors work directly with the farmers: if you ask where it comes from, you get the whole story.
Delicacies at Le Marie Marché are small, honest and first-hand. The olive oil comes from an Italian family that presses it themselves, the panettone is heavy with butter, the charcuterie is cut by the maker right at the stall. We prefer vendors who work directly with their farmers or producers, not through middlemen.
Alongside French classics like confit, dry sausage and cheese, you also find Italian and Mediterranean specialities: panettone, ricotta, dates, thin olive oil, dried figs. We curate for variety so that a walk past the stalls is also a tasting route. Many vendors are ready with a knife for a second piece if you hesitate.
Our tip: come with an empty bag and a hungry mood. The best food on the market is not the food you order, it is the food that is handed to you. And if you ask where something comes from, you get the whole story: the farmer, the season, the cave where the cheese ripened or the mill where it was ground.
